Reyna Tropical

The Reyna Tropical project was born in 2016 from the meeting between Mexican-American guitarist and songwriter Fabi Reyna and producer Nectali "Sumohair" Díaz. The project weaves together electronic music, pop, and Colombian, Peruvian, Congolese and Afro-Indigenous rhythms, tackling themes such as diaspora, queer identity and the relationship with the land. After Díaz's passing, Reyna carried on alone, releasing the debut album “Malegría” in 2024 and collaborating in 2026 with Helado Negro on the album “Helado Tropical“.
