Annalisa

Annalisa Scarrone, known to all simply as Annalisa, is one of Italy's most successful singers, boasting 25 Platinum Records and 12 Gold Records. She has released 7 albums to date, racking up 500 million video views, appearing on television shows and taking part in numerous collaborations, both Italian and international (for example with Dua Lipa and David Guetta).

Born in Savona on August 5, 1985, she grew up in the provincial town of Carcare with her father and mother. From a very young age she developed a passion for music, poring over her parents' record collection. She holds a degree in Physics and has studied singing and several musical instruments.

In 2010 she took part in the tenth season of “Amici”, placing second in the “singing” category. Her debut album “Nali” (the affectionate nickname her family and friends call her) came out that same year and included songs already heard during the Canale 5 show, such as “Questo bellissimo gioco”.

A year later came her second album, “Mentre tutto cambia”, a more intimate work preceded by the single “Senza riserva”. On July 9, 2012, alongside Chiara Civello, Annalisa performed as a guest duet partner at the special leg titled “Io, l'orchestra, le donne e l'amore” of Antonello Venditti's Unica tour. Around the same time she kicked off her first tour, the “Mentre tutto cambia tour”, split into a summer leg and an autumn leg in theaters.

In 2013 Annalisa took part in the Sanremo Festival, in the Big Artists section, with “Non so ballare” (a song eliminated from the competition) and “Scintille”. During the festival her new album, titled precisely “Non so ballare”, was also released, including the songs she performed there.

In 2015 she returned to Sanremo with “Una finestra tra le stelle”. Alongside her participation in the festival, she released the new album “Splende” – featuring the singles “Sento solo il presente” and “L'ultimo addio” – produced by Francesco “Kekko” Silvestre and Enrico Palmosi of Modà.

In 2016 she again competed at the 66th Sanremo Festival with the song “Il diluvio universale”, while the new album “Se avessi un cuore” sought to consolidate her success.

At the end of 2017 the Ligurian singer-songwriter was selected among the 20 Big Artists competing at the 2018 Sanremo Festival, where she presented the new song “Il mondo prima di te”, later included on her new album, produced by Michele Canova and preceded by the single “Direzione la vita”. The song placed third, and the following week the album “Bye-bye” was released.

Meanwhile, Annalisa kept churning out hit singles such as “Avocado toast” and “Vento sulla Luna” in 2019, followed a year later by a collaboration on J-Ax's single “Supercalifragili”, both as co-writer and vocalist, as well as other solo tracks like “Houseparty” and “Tsunami”. On September 18, 2020 came her seventh studio album, “Naked”, which boasts several collaborations with other artists, including Achille Lauro, J-Ax and Chadia Rodríguez.

In 2021 Annalisa returned to Sanremo for the 71st Festival with the song “Dieci”: alongside the single's release, a reissue of the album, titled “Naked10” and featuring several bonus tracks, was also put out. The singles “Movimento lento” and “Eva+Eva” were also taken from it, featuring guest vocals by Federico Rossi and Rose Villain respectively.

In 2022 Annalisa teamed up with Boomdabash on the single “Tropicana”, while continuing work on her eighth album and releasing its first single, “Bellissima”. On March 31, 2023 came the second single, “Mon amour”, which decisively boosted her standing, allowing her to reach No. 1 on the Top Singoli chart for the first time in her career. Then, together with Fedez and Articolo 31, she released the single “Disco Paradise”, which became another summer smash.

On September 29, 2023 Annalisa's eighth album, “And then we ended up in the whirlwind”, was released. Meanwhile, the Savona-born singer added more records to her résumé: she became the first woman to stay on the charts with a single for more than a year (“Bellissima”) and was listed among the hundred most successful women in Italy according to Forbes.

After taking part in Sanremo 2024 with “Sinceramente”, the Ligurian singer achieved yet another record: she became the first Italian woman to break into the top 100 of the Billboard Global 200, the chart ranking the world's best-performing songs based on streaming and/or sales activity. As a result, on March 6, 2024 she was invited to Los Angeles as a guest at Billboard's “Women in Music” event, where she received the “Global Force” award.

In 2025 Annalisa released her new album “But I am fire”, in which she attempts to reaffirm herself as Italy's dancing queen, revisiting electronic pop sounds tinged with 80s flavor and drawing on idols such as Giorgio Moroder, Rettore and Raffaella Carrà.
