Thom Yorke – “Knife Edge”
Thom Yorke composed the soundtrack for Daniele Luchetti's film “Confidenza”, a cinematic adaptation of Domenico Starnone's novel of the same name. Now, XL Recordings has announced that the soundtrack will be released digitally on April 26, while the vinyl and CD will follow on July 12. The record, out on September 6th, nine years after its predecessor “Rattle That Lock”, will feature a recording by Rick Wright, the Pink Floyd keyboardist who passed away in 2008. It's a part recorded in 2007, during a session in a barn at Gilmour's home.

Johnny Cash – “Well Alright”
A new album of unreleased Johnny Cash songs is on the way. The record, overseen by his son John Carter Cash, will be titled “Songwriter” and will be made up entirely of tracks written by the country icon in 1993, while he was working at LSI Studios in Nashville.
Discovered by Cash's son and brought back to life with the help of producer David “Fergie” Ferguson and several of the American songwriter's former collaborators, including guitarist Marty Stuart, bassist Dave Roe (who passed away last year) and drummer Pete Abbotts, the songs represent an unreleased chapter in Cash's storied career. “Songwriter” comes out on June 28th on Mercury Nashville/UMe, and can be pre-ordered at this link.
