Prosegue nel solco di un ben eseguito revivalismo seventies la carriera dell’inglese Jon Allen, che approda qui al terzo disco, in cui a farla da padrone sono la resa sonora e il credibile lavoro di ordito dei brani. Ricorda un po’ il Rodriguez più romantico di “Coming From Reality”, con il suo country-soul verace (“Loving Arms”, “Falling Back”), e per il resto si muove tra radiofonici stomp country-blues (“Fire In My Heart”, “All The Money’s Gone”) e lunari ballate acustiche (“Keep Moving On”, “Night & Day”).

Pur nell’ottimo abito sonoro del disco, sul piano di scrittura rimane evidente la scarsa personalità della proposta (dal Neil Young della title track al Nick Drake di “Hummingbird Blues” e “Lady Of The Water”), sebbene sempre caratterizzata da una buona orecchiabilità.
