noise, post-industrial

After the Candor Chasma project, in which he explored the jagged recesses of Martian canyons and cosmic emptiness, and the requiem for the science fiction of James Ballard in a six-handed tribute, Corrado Altieri brings to life this new solo project, which undoubtedly stands as one of the most orthodox and abstract reflections of his recent output.
A shapeless becoming with illogical movement draws its strength from filters, synths and analog tape, searching for a cerebral container capable of restraining its hunger for reality.

Voices, recordings and errors pile on top of one another in a sharp, at times percussive flow of information that overwhelms the listener without any code or structure. We witness, powerless and unaware, a dilated chaos, at times dissected down to its smallest particle only to be magnified a thousand times over, which seeks not an explanation but a total, radical vision, inside an organism stripped of its DNA and filled with feedback and brutal violence.

A body with unpredictable nerve branches, tending toward mental nihilism, for a work that presents itself as a heavy hallucinatory journey through the paranoid recesses of TV channels abandoned to the airwaves and conversations between distant worlds.

Assisted by Simon Balestrazzi on mastering and electronics on the tracks "Aesthetic Imperfection" and "Entertainment And Partial Entropy", on "Document" Altieri manages to elude any conceptual "sense" and confront us with a loaded psychological weapon.

What the target of this unidentified threat might be is the question we as listeners must ask ourselves, faced with a sound perhaps too closed in on itself, yet endowed with an expressive force that cannot go unnoticed.
