The stroboscopic epos of "Wilderness" is without doubt the high point of this sound, torn between the physicality of the mechanical beat, the radiant evanescence of the drones and the inescapable desolation of the vocals. On "Freak", by contrast, the guitar swarms, utterly abrasive, along the ecstatic path of a stunning back-and-forth. The closing is entrusted to the sidereal layers of "Trees", which close the circle around the boundless refractions of a melancholy that offers no escape. The cosmos, imposing, like a womb into which everything returns.
Niente male.
