These New Puritans live in Italy to present new album “Crooked Wing”

10-03-2026

The Sexto Nplugged 2026 festival rounds out its line-up with the announcement of a prestigious name, that of These New Puritans, who will thus return to Italy to present their new album “Crooked Wing“ live. The English group led by brothers Jack and George Barnett will open the festival on July 2nd in Piazza Castello in Sesto al Reghena (Pordenone), where the festival will run from July 2nd to 5th.

Active since 2006 and known for an experimental approach that weaves together electronica, jazz, classical music and cinematic touches, These New Puritans will bring to the stage the album released in May 2025, six years on from “Inside The Rose“. The album grew out of the sound of a bell recorded by Jack Barnett in an Orthodox church in Greece, and was developed between London, Essex and Austria, with contributions from musicians of varied backgrounds.

The 2026 edition's line-up features four nights. On July 2nd, WU LYF will take the stage, back on the scene with their new album “A Wave That Will Never Break” (out April 10th), alongside These New Puritans. On July 3rd, Il Mago del Gelato and Altın Gün will perform, fresh off the release of “Garip“. July 4th belongs to JoyCut and Apparat, while the festival's closing night, on July 5th, is entrusted to I Cani.
