I Morcheeba, alfieri del trip-hop britannico negli the '90s, tornano in concerto in Italy con una data prevista per il 26 luglio al Carroponte di Sesto San Giovanni (Milano). In quasi 30 anni di storia, la formazione guidata dalla voce di Skye Edwards ha abbracciato più di un genere musicale, attingendo al pop-rock, all’alternative rock ma anche a funk, downbeat, hip-hop ed electro: con 10 album registrati in studio, tra cui “Who Can You Trust?”, “Big Calm” e “Fragments Of Freedom” che fanno parte del patrimonio musicale contemporaneo e poi, quel singolo “Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day” del 2000 divenuto una hit mondiale, piazzandosi in testa alle classifiche anche in Italy e ottenendo anche la nomination ai Grammy Awards.
Al Carroponte i Morcheeba presenteranno anche il loro ultimo album in studio, “Blackest Blue”.
