Jessica Lea Mayfield presents the title track of her new album, “Sorry Is Gone” [VIDEO]

Jessica Lea Mayfield released the video for her new single “Sorry Is Gone” the day before yesterday, the first track taken from the self-titled album due out on September 29 via ATO Records. The new record was produced by John Agnello (Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Phosphorescent) and features several notable collaborations, including with Seth Avett, Steve Shelley, Emil Amos and Cameron Deyell.

“I've come to understand that only I can take care of myself,” the singer-songwriter writes in the official press release, going on to say that she has to sing and write about firsthand experiences “as part of a therapeutic inner dialogue.” In support of the new album, Mayfield will be on an extensive American tour this coming fall.
