Ahead of releasing their fourth full-length, “Palace For The People”, due out on October 9th via Republic Records, Greta Van Fleet have shared another preview of the album with the single “Tear It Down”, released on Friday, September 18th.
After previous singles “Play Your Games” and “Saw You Stand”, the Frankenmuth quartet made up of the Kiszka brothers (Josh on vocals, Jake on guitar and Sam on bass/keyboards) alongside drummer Danny Wagner once again hit the gas. The track pairs the band's trademark classic-rock guitar attack with a more introspective, lyrical streak, centered on individual disorientation in the face of contemporary information overload.
Recorded in spring 2026 at an isolated cabin in Tennessee and polished in the studio with co-production from Mike Elizondo (known for his work with Turnstile, Fiona Apple and Dr. Dre), the band's new record aims to expand their hard-rock framework toward airier, more symphonic territory.
As frontman Josh Kiszka has stated, the album stems from the ambition to translate human experience into music through an approach spanning beauty, rawness and transcendence:
“La funzione dell’artista è offrire ciò che l’universo non può offrire. Volevamo realizzare un disco che incarnasse avventura, passione, brutalità, bellezza, sesso e immaginazione… Siamo cercatori di stelle. Prendiamo semplicemente l’esperienza umana e la traduciamo in musica.”
“Palace For The People” is already available for pre-order in the usual physical and digital formats.
