È morto all’età di 61 anni Gabi Delgado-López, il musicista tedesco fondatore nel 1978 dei D.A.F., Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft. A dare la notizia è stato Robert Görl, amico e collega di lunga data. Nato in Spagna nel 1958, Gabi Delgado si era trasferito nella Germania dell’Ovest nel 1966. Insieme a Görl pubblicò nel 1979 il disco d’esordio dei D.A.F., “Ein Produkt der Deutsch-Amerikanischen Freundschaft”, con cui inaugurarono quella che è stata definita la Neue Deutsche Welle, ovvero la new wave tedesca. Uno dei loro pezzi più celebri fu “Der Mussolini”, una canzone dissacrante contenuta nell’album “Alles Is Gut” del 1981.
