Elio e le Storie Tese have announced the dates of their "Tour à la carte", a summer tour that will take in some of Italy's major cities.
The schedule includes thirteen dates spread between July and early September: Tuesday 7 July in Mirano, Wednesday 8 July in Piacenza (tickets available from 17 March), Thursday 9 July in Legnano, Saturday 11 July in Bari, Wednesday 15 July in Porto Recanati, Thursday 16 July in Bologna, Tuesday 21 July in Pratolino, Friday 24 July in Cagliari, Sunday 26 July in Edolo, Monday 27 July in Azzano Decimo, Wednesday 29 July in Seravezza, Friday 31 July in Rome and Thursday 3 September in Vicenza.
The distinctive feature of the tour lies in how the setlists are built: at every stop, it will be the audience choosing which songs to hear, voting for their picks on the band's official website. Each show will therefore have a different lineup of songs, decided directly by the fans and conceived as a genuine musical menu. The project lets listeners get involved right from the show's preparation stage, taking part in choosing the songs and making a concrete contribution to shaping each night.
The "Tour à la carte" will kick off just a few days after "Concertozzo", the event devised by Trio Medusa together with the band to combine music with social initiatives. This year's edition will be held in Biella for the first time: Friday 26 June in Piazza Duomo with meetings, talks, shows and free information stands, and Saturday 27 June in Piazza Falcone with the "Concertozzino" and the main concert.
The tour is organized by Imarts – International Music And Arts. Tickets are available on Ticketone.
