Two tours in Italy and two covers for Fear of Men and Leave The Planet

23-09-2014

This autumn, Kanine Records will be coming to Italy with two of the most acclaimed bands on its roster: Fear of Men and Leave the Planet.

A few days ago the Brighton trio released a new track, a cover of "Sleeper” by Ty Segall, which will be released and distributed digitally as the b-side of the new single Tephra also promoting the new tour (after touring as support to Pains of Being Pure at Heart), which will see the band travel around Europe throughout the month of October. Here are the Italian dates:

Oct 14 – Biko – Milan, Italy
Oct 15 – Circolo degli Artisti – Rome, Italy w/ Future Islands
Oct 16 – Mattatoio – Modena, Italy

Of Italian origin but based in London, the duo Leave The Planet are the newest addition to the Kanine Records roster. With just a demo and a single to their name, Jack and Nathalie have already won over the hearts of their growing fanbase and earned the approval of figures such as Simon Raymonde (Bella Union/ Cocteau Twins) and Dean Wareham (Galaxie 500), not to mention the selfless promotion of their work by Fat Cat Records.

A few weeks ago the duo also released a gorgeous cover of Strange by Galaxie 500.

Although they've often toured Italy with the side project M!R!M, this will be the first Italian tour for LTP, and we strongly recommend you don't miss it for anything in the world.

Nov 07 – Scenasonica – Pordenone, Italy

Nov 08 – TBC – Thiene, Italy

Nov 09 – Café del Sole – Vicenza, Italy
Nov 11 – TBC – Lucca, Italy
Nov 12 – Circolo Mame – Padova, Italy
Nov 13 – Ohibò – Milano, Italy w/ Drink to Me
Nov 14 – Covo – Bologna, Italy w/ Merchandise
