On Sunday, March 15, "A Way To Die" will premiere in Rome, a film assembled by French directors Maxime Lachaud and Reivaks Timeless, gathering footage (shot on 8mm and 16mm) by John Balance and Peter Christopherson from the 1970s through the 1990s. Experimental, subversive and visionary cinema, in the spirit that defined the incredible career of their creation, Coil.
The screenings (the first at 7pm, the second at 10pm) will be held at Trenta Formiche, on via del Mandrione 3. The directors will be present to introduce the film alongside moderators Asymmetrical (Raw Culture, event organizer) and Paolo Chemnitz (OndaRock editor). An exhibition of archival material on Coil, along with music selections by Asymmetrical, Chemnitz and Ljos Berinn (OndaRock), will accompany the evening.
