Charli XCX has shared "Wall Of Sound", a new track taken from "Wuthering Heights", the soundtrack and companion project to the film of the same name directed by Emerald Fennell. The star of "Brat" has in fact penned a series of songs for the new adaptation of Emily Bronte's novel. The film, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, has leaned heavily on her music in its promotional campaign too. Below is the video for "Wall Of Sound", ahead of the joint release of the film and album, set for February 13.
Charli's recent singles, "Chains Of Love" and "House", made in collaboration with John Cale, will be included on the album, which the artist described on Substack as "an immersion into the character, into a world that felt undeniably raw, wild, sexual, gothic, British, tormented and full of real sentences, with real punctuation and grammar. With not a cigarette or a pair of sunglasses in sight, it was something completely other to the life I was living at the time".
Meanwhile, A24 has released the first trailer for "The Moment", the new feature film centered on Charli XCX, a project conceived and starring the British artist herself. The film will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival 2026 and will hit US theaters on January 30.
Directed by Aidan Zamiri, "The Moment" takes the form of a mockumentary following a singer attempting to make the leap into acting while grappling with the typical pressures of the music industry. As she prepares for an arena tour, the protagonist tries to strike a balance between expectations, visibility and professional responsibilities. The story, written by Charli XCX, clearly draws on personal experiences accumulated over the course of her career.

The film kicks off a particularly busy year of film commitments for the singer-songwriter, who in 2026 will also appear on screen in “I Want Your Sex” and “The Gallerist”.
