Nineties rock, post-hardcore and lyrics of real power are the ingredients of the debut album from this Bergamo-Brescia outfit, out via DreaminGorilla/Banksville.
Produced by Fabio Magistrali together with the band itself, “Virale” is a solidly electric album that follows in the furrow ploughed by the Nineties indie movement, contaminating it with New York-style post-hardcore and soaking it in noise and tight, clenched rhythms.
A record to approach with caution, laying out one carefully crafted ambush after another, track by track, pervaded by a strong sense of suffocation — perfectly captured by that very Vuoto Elettrico ("Electric Void") that gives the project its name.
