Anna Calvi announces the EP “Is This All There Is?”, a project featuring Laurie Anderson, Iggy Pop, Perfume Genius and Matt Berninger of The National. The title track, made together with Berninger, precedes the album's release: an intense duet in which the two voices alternate and intertwine, drawing out the song's emotional depth. The song had originally been written for Joanna Hogg's film “The Souvenir Part II”, but had never been released. In this new version, it becomes a reflection on the courage to keep questioning the meaning of existence. “Matt's voice has such an epic, almost ancient quality that it felt perfect for a song asking such a huge existential question – Anna Calvi pointed out – We're both searching for answers, together yet somehow always apart, which I find beautiful. He brings an intimacy to the song that I could never have imagined."

The EP opens a trilogy devoted to the theme of identity as a process of transformation, particularly shaped by the experience of falling in love. The idea grew out of the shift in perspective Calvi underwent after becoming a mother, an experience that led her to question how to live in a more conscious and authentic way.
Among the tracks is also a reinterpretation of "Computer Love" by Kraftwerk alongside Laurie Anderson, which turns the German band's electronic classic into a meditation on intimacy in the digital age. The work takes on a strongly cinematic dimension, partly thanks to the experience Calvi gained composing for the final seasons of "Peaky Blinders": the EP's four songs are conceived as a single sonic narrative.
Always inclined to collaborate with artists of strong creative identity, Calvi builds here a project in which the guest voices become true characters within the musical narrative.
Alongside this, the musician also takes part in War Child's charity album "HELP(2)" with the track "Sunday Light", made together with Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice, Nilüfer Yanya and Dove Ellis.
