AMA 2026 - Preview with Scorpions and Alice Cooper

While the August lineup is still being finalized, as per tradition the AMA Music Festival kicks off in July with a handful of dates that by now are far too substantial to be called mere "previews".

This year, two legendary names in hard rock, Scorpions and Alice Cooper, will perform in the park of Villa Negri in Romano d'Ezzelino (VI).

Things heat up on Friday 10 July with a day entirely devoted to Italian flower-punk, in memory of Cristiano "Ruvido" Baldo (one of the leading "cultural agitators" of that scene), featuring Punkreas, Derozer, Persiana Jones, Shandon and Moravagine (entry €10).

Saturday the 11th, it's the turn of Scorpions, on their farewell tour after more than 50 years of history. Supporting them will be a luxury guest, Saxon, led by the ever-enduring Biff Byford.

Another artist who has become a legend, namely Alice Cooper, will follow on July 12th, bringing his historic shock rock to the foot of Monte Grappa. Before him will play the pioneers of English punk The Damned and local heroes Messa, fresh off the success of their fourth album.

To wrap things up, on Saturday 18 July, there's a pay-what-you-want event in aid of the oncology ward at Bassano del Grappa hospital, featuring Alex Britti.

Tickets will be on sale via Vivaticket and TicketOne.
