Alan Parsons Project, reissues on the way for "Eye In The Sky" and two other albums

12-02-2026

Three landmark titles from the Alan Parsons Project discography are returning in a new series of expanded reissues. They are “The Turn Of A Friendly Card” (1980), “Eye In The Sky” (1982) and “Ammonia Avenue” (1984), out March 27th via Cooking Vinyl in various formats.

The new editions include half-speed remastered 2xLP versions, a 1xLP on black vinyl, and a limited edition on clear vinyl. The half-speed mastering was handled by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. Alongside the vinyl format, expanded CD editions are planned with bonus tracks and booklets featuring liner notes that include quotes from Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson.

The Alan Parsons Project, active between 1976 and 1987, released ten albums and sold over 55 million copies worldwide. The partnership between Parsons, sound engineer and producer, and Woolfson, writer and singer, defined an aesthetic blending progressive rock, symphonic pop and a near-obsessive attention to studio production. “Eye In The Sky” (1982), the band's bestseller, includes the opening sequence “Sirius”/”Eye In The Sky” along with tracks like “Children Of The Moon”, “Silence And I” and “Old And Wise”.
