With the European tour approaching, which will also stop in Italy for a single date on June 13 as part of the 2026 edition of the Ferrara Summer Festival, A Perfect Circle unveil a new single. After “Kindred”, released two years ago as part of the project celebrating Maynard James Keenan's 60th birthday, Billy Howerdel's band today releases “Starless” (with Josh Freese back behind the drums). Watch the video below.
The band led by Maynard James Keenan and Billy Howerdel hasn't set foot on a European stage since 2018, the year they released Eat the Elephant, their fourth and, to date, latest studio album. Marked by more elegiac, reflective tones, the record signaled the band's return after a long hiatus and was supported by a tour that also took in Italy with three dates: Villafranca di Verona, Rome and Milan.
After years of silence, A Perfect Circle returned to the stage between 2024 and early 2025 with a string of shows in the United States, documented on the live album “Sessanta Live”, recorded in full at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix.
The new European tour thus seems to be pushing the band toward a renewed chapter in their artistic journey - a rare chance to experience live the restless, magnetic alchemy of one of the most intense projects in the Keenan galaxy.
