The headliners of the thirteenth edition of Lars Rock Fest 2026 have been revealed: the festival will run from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July at the Giardini Pubblici in Chiusi, with free admission as always.
Friday, July 10th's opening slot goes to Deerhoof, the legendary San Francisco outfit and pillar of oblique noise-pop and mathematical virtuosity.
Saturday, July 11th will see the Cardinals take the stage, a Cork-based band and one of the new faces of Irish rock. Described by the British press as a cross between "Drunken Smiths" and "Sober Pogues", the band blends jagged guitars and accordion into a unique sound that ranges from post-punk to alternative folk.
Closing out the festival on Sunday, July 12th, will be Geordie Greep, the brilliant founder and frontman of Black Midi, who will present his acclaimed solo debut "The New Sound", a dizzying journey poised between jazz-fusion, progressive rock and tropicalismo.
