“Me And The Trees” is the first single by CCCC, the new project born from the meeting of Chiara Civello and Clap! Clap! (Cristiano Crisci). The track officially opens the journey of Quarter Moon Records, the new independent label founded by Chiara Civello and dedicated to musical projects that cross languages, geographies and disciplines.
Conceived as a space for international research and collaboration, Quarter Moon Records was born with the ambition of creating connections between artists, scenes and different traditions, welcoming works that move between songwriting, jazz, electronics and sonic experimentation. Shaping the label's visual identity is Ra Di
Martino, an Italian artist among the most recognized voices on the contemporary scene, who designs the logo and graphic imagery for the label's various releases, reinforcing from the outset its dialogue with the world of visual art.

The first building block of this new venture is CCCC, a collaboration between two of the most original figures on the contemporary Italian music scene. On one side, Chiara Civello, singer, composer and songwriter with a well-established international career spanning Europe, the United States and Brazil, with releases for Verve, Universal and Sony and collaborations with artists such as Burt Bacharach, Chico Buarque, Gilberto Gil and Esperanza Spalding. On the other, Clap! Clap!, a producer and composer globally recognized for a sonic language capable of weaving together electronics, global rhythms, timbral research and club culture, having collaborated over the years with Paul Simon and released landmark works for the English label Black Acre. Far removed from the logic of musical genres, CCCC was born as a space for shared exploration. A project spanning electronics, jazz and art-pop, weaving together organic and digital elements, a sonic territory free from genre conventions, where song, improvisation, timbral research and deep reflections on spirituality, transformation, isolation and healing all coexist.
“Me And The Trees” represents the first chapter of this artistic dialogue, a track that is a meditation on vulnerability, finding in nature a model of adaptation, transformation and strength.
CCCC will be officially introduced to the public on June 25th at the Casa del Jazz in Rome, on the occasion of Chiara Civello's concert. On stage, alongside the singer-songwriter, will also be Clap! Clap!, marking the project's first public appearance and offering a preview of the work that will make up the debut album
expected in autumn 2026.
