All Things Live Italy presents Kae Tempest. Three live events have been announced in Italy for the London-based artist, who is forever balanced between rap, poetry and writing inspired by Greek literature. Three dates are scheduled for next October: the 25th at the Romeuropa Festival, in the capital, at the Hacienda, the 26th at the Estragon in Bologna, and the 27th at the Fabrique in Milan. Opening act will be Jacob Alon.
Tickets are available on the ticketing and discovery platform DICE.
Kae Tempest has so far released four critically acclaimed studio albums, as well as numerous books, plays and poetry collections, including Brand New Ancients, for which they received the Ted Hughes Award in 2013. The albums "Let Them Eat Chaos" from 2017 and "Everybody Down" from 2014 earned two Mercury Prize nominations. In 2024 Tempest won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song, a prize they had already come close to winning in 2020. They have also picked up a BRIT Award nomination, in 2018.
In 2023, BBC Arena dedicated a documentary to the English artist, Being Kae Tempest, a fascinating exploration of their musical and creative journey during a period of profound personal and artistic change. Around the same time, they posed for photographer and portraitist Tim Walker as part of the British Icons feature in Edward Enninful's edition of British Vogue.
Their fifth studio album, "Self titled", will be released on July 4th.
