Mauro Roma

Born in Rome in 1980, a none-too-enthusiastic university student, after wandering between faculties and universities across half of Italy he abandoned his academic studies in Communication Sciences for a more promising career as an aspiring yuppie, while continuing to pour much of his time and mental energy into the use/abuse of music and cinema. Musically raised with Joy Division and Nine Inch Nails as his guiding lights, more than anything he loves the darkest and most atmospheric sides of various musical genres, and after years of relentless exploration his listening habits range, with equal passion, from the fiercest black metal to the glossiest synth-pop. On Onda Rock since late 2002, he has written numerous music profiles and reviews.
