Satan Is My Brother

Satan Is My Brother is a Milanese quartet made up of Francesca Stella Riva, Alessandro Midlarz, Simone Mattiolo and Luca Freddi. Active since 2007, they have released three albums on Onga's Boring Machines label, offering a hybrid, strongly evocative sound with a clear cinematic imprint that intersects ambient, jazz, noise and psychedelia.

After their self-titled debut, conceived as a commentary on a night journey along the Milan-Turin motorway, in 2011 they released "A Forest Dark", a sonic commentary on Giuseppe De Liguoro's 1911 silent film titled "Inferno". In 2015 came "They Made Us Climb Up Here", which further consolidated the project's imaginative coordinates.

After eight years of silence comes "How Far Can You See?", their fourth album – the first produced by Nicola Quiriconi's Dissipatio – which further expands the project's visionary vocabulary.

In 2026 comes "Close Your Eyes, See Black", a new, gripping sonic journey through ambient, jazz and electronics, signed by the Milanese quartet.
