Geese

Geese are an American indie rock band based in Brooklyn, New York. The band is made up of Dominic DiGesu (bass), Cameron Winter (vocals and keyboards), Max Bassin (drums), Gus Green and Foster Hudson (guitars).

The band formed in 2016 while its members were attending Brooklyn Friends School and Little Red School House in New York City. During high school, the band rehearsed and recorded material in the basement of Bassin's house in Fort Greene.

Since some members had received acceptance letters to attend schools such as Oberlin College and Berklee College of Music, the band intended to split up once they graduated high school in 2020. By mid-2020, however, the band's self-produced demos had caught the attention of several record labels, including 4AD, Fat Possum and Sub Pop. The band eventually signed with Partisan Records.

The band released their debut album, "Projector", on October 29, 2021. It was recorded by the band in Bassin's basement from late 2019 to early 2020 and mixed by Dan Carey. The album was met with a fair amount of critical acclaim.

Their second studio album, "3D Country", came out on June 23, 2023, produced by James Ford. On October 13, 2023, the band released the EP "4D Country", featuring unreleased tracks from the "3D Country" recording sessions.

In 2025 comes their return with "Getting Killed", which establishes them as the spiritual heirs of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.
