Caspio

The Caspio project began as a solo venture for multi-instrumentalist Giorgio Di Gregorio, from Trieste. The initial goal was to blend electronics with lyrical introspection in a reflection on generational themes. After the debut Giorni Vuoti (2019), steeped in synthwave sounds with a nostalgic Eighties feel, in 2021 Giorgio released the EP “Fugit”, poised between trip-hop and Nineties dance sounds. The single “Sospedi” (2022) followed, along with an appearance at Musicultura 2022, where Di Gregorio reached the final with the track “Domani!”.

December 2024 brought the first album, “Noi che viviamo in un mondo perfetto”, a work marking the project's turn toward alt-rock, with clear Nineties influences. During the recording of the album the band took shape, with Enrico Muccin (guitar), Riccardo Roschetti (bass, vocals) and Nicolas Morassutto (drums, vocals).

A promotional tour followed, taking the newly formed band onto the stages of Italian live clubs, often sharing the bill with other kindred acts: Voina, Vintage Violence, Stegosauro, Bachi da Pietra, Kalpa, HARAM!

In early March 2026 Caspio released their second album, “Cosa resterà di noi”, a raw, direct work that makes no attempt to hide its decisive influences from Verdena, Ministri and Smashing Pumpkins.
