B. Fleischmann

Bernhard Fleischmann is an Austrian musician who has been active in the electronic scene since the late '90s. After studying piano, he turned to rhythm, making his live debut in 1991 as a drummer in various bands. In '98 he began experimenting with synthetic frequencies, blending ambient and techno textures with trip hop cadences. The following year he released "Pop Loops For Breakfast", a debut that forged a lasting partnership with the prestigious Morr Music, a label he remains tied to. His ongoing quest to cross-pollinate seemingly opposite genres has led him toward increasingly accessible solutions, culminating in the embrace of vocals on "Angst Is Not A Weltanschauung" (2008, Morr Music).

Celebrated for his live performances, he has also scored numerous films and theatre productions, and it's precisely from this vast archive of over 600 compositions that he draws the material - specially selected and reworked - to put together the kaleidoscopic "Music For Shared Rooms" (2022, Morr Music), his eleventh album, breaking a four-year recording silence.
