/HANDLOGIC - Chi ti guarderà?

2026 (Docmusic/artist first)
rock, urban

While waiting to discover the new album by /handlogic, the Florentine band has decided to release an EP made up of three tracks, three new visions, three different faces framing the overturning of certain stylistic traits consolidated over their first ten years of activity. The Tuscan outfit describes it as the start of a new cycle: guitars and electronics joined together for a fresh restart, a new ground zero.

This isn't the first time the four musicians have shuffled the deck: it had already happened in 2023 with “Esseri umani imperfetti“, when they opted for the first time to sing in Italian, a bold choice that's usually made when an artist has something important to say, thus signalling the intention and urgency to be understood right to the core.

Lorenzo Pellegrini (vocals and guitar), Miriam Fornari (vocals, keyboards and synth) and the rhythm section made up of brothers Alessandro (bass) and Daniele (drums) Cianferoni offer up a formula that's already partly tried and tested, refining it even further. “Vieni giù” is a perfect statement of intent for their blend of rock roots and urban interference, of guitar-driven foundations and soul modernisms, precise aesthetic choices confirmed through the groove of “Amilià” and the distortions of “Ulula”. Short, fast songs, an even more rhythmic and tense energy, a dense, articulate voice moving boldly through the words. A very fine appetizer, while we wait to find out what else is on the menu.
