Il nuovo split della serie “Collisions” mette insieme la psichedelia krauta degli Gnod e gli esperimenti pazzoidi dei misteriosi Shit And Shine.

I quasi trenta minuti della release sono occupati da due sole tracce: la prima, “Shitting Through the Eye Of A Needle In A Haystack”, vede la formazione mancuniana alle prese con un lungo cerimoniale industrial che lentamente fagocita dubstep, rumorismo sparso e techno, proiettandosi verso lande sempre più ipnotiche e non distanti da fascinazioni Can (penso soprattutto a “Tago Mago”).

In “Ladies Circle”, invece, la band anglo-texana si affida ad un groove stroboscopico, con tanto di voce androide, che mostra non poche reminiscenze Eighties, zoppicando, singhiozzando e auto-destrutturandosi in un trip allucinogeno dentro cui il cervello va in pappa…

Apprezzabile.
