SIX ORGANS OF ADMITTANCE - Luminous Night

2009 (Drag city)
Psych-folk

After the ecstasy, the abyss: the experience with C93 left few but incisive marks on Chasney's songwriting, now darker than ever. Side B opens with an industrial-pagan litany worthy of the Cold Meat Industry catalogue. Then the atmosphere returns to coordinates more fitting for Chasney's six-string.

It took Ben a good dozen years and as many albums to get here, and he has absolutely no intention of stopping now.
