The chart of the 20 most-streamed Italian songs of all time on Spotify

To celebrate its twentieth anniversary, Spotify has launched "La tua festa su Spotify" ("Your Spotify Party"), a new personalized experience available directly in the mobile app. The feature lets users retrace their own musical history through statistics, playlists and previously unseen data tied to their listening habits built up over time. For the first time, the platform has also released the official chart of the 20 most-streamed Italian tracks of all time on Spotify: a list spanning generations and musical languages, from the international rock of Måneskin to the dance sounds of Gigi D'Agostino and Gabry Ponte, taking in Ludovico Einaudi, MEDUZA and Raffaella Carrà along the way.

"La tua festa su Spotify": how it works

The experience, accessible by searching "Spotify 20" or "La tua festa su Spotify" in the app, lets users discover information such as the first day they spent on the platform, the total number of tracks listened to, the first song ever played, and their all-time most-listened-to artist.
Spotify has also created a personalized playlist for every account, made up of 120 tracks considered among the user's favourites, designed to be saved and shared.
The initiative aims to turn two decades of streaming into a kind of personal archive of musical memory, reconstructing the tastes, obsessions and soundtracks that have accompanied listeners over the years.

The chart published by Spotify also offers an interesting snapshot of the evolution of Italian music in the streaming era. Alongside Måneskin's global hits, there's room for dance hits that have crossed multiple generations, the international electronic sound of MEDUZA, and the piano compositions of Ludovico Einaudi, which over the years have become a constant presence in videos, social media and viral content.
