On Saturday 31 January, Rockin'1000, the world's biggest rock band, performed in the United States for the first time, in New Orleans, on the stage of the Caesars Superdome. During the evening, 210 bassists, 170 drummers, 330 guitarists, 240 vocalists and 50 brass players (saxophones, trombones and trumpets), coming from 48 different states and selected through an open registration process, set the stadium alight with classic songs that made rock history.

The show was enhanced by a special welcome from New Orleans, directed by Harry Connick Jr., and by appearances from some of the city's most representative musical acts and scenes: Dumpstaphunk, Bonerama, Rebirth Brass Band, The Rumble, Joyful and The Spirit of New Orleans Gospel Choir, for a collective celebration brimming with energy that brought together rock, funk, brass, gospel and local culture. Opening the evening were Raising Cane's with Cowboy Mouth and DJ Captain Charles.

"Bringing Rockin'1000 to the United States, the home of rock 'n' roll, is a dream we've been nurturing for years. Starting our American journey in an iconic city like New Orleans, in a legendary venue like the Caesars Superdome, is an immense emotion for us," said Fabio Zaffagnini, founder of Rockin'1000, who also added: "There is no greater force than music when it comes to bringing complete strangers together, for an unforgettable moment on stage: we create a bond that unites not just musicians, but also friends, families and fans. I can't wait to share this epic experience and grow our global community of music lovers."

Rockin'1000 was born in 2015 from a viral idea by Zaffagnini, who gathered 1,000 musicians in his hometown of Cesena to play a tribute to Foo Fighters, capturing the attention of the whole world in the process. Today it is an international community of more than 100,000 musicians, united by a shared passion and the collective energy of creating something extraordinary. Since then, Rockin'1000 has filled stadiums in 20 countries, sold more than 300,000 tickets and racked up hundreds of millions of views online, offering unrepeatable experiences to musicians and audiences alike, a thousand at a time.
