Muse: here's the new single "Be With You". The follow-up to "Will Of The People" is in the works

10-03-2026

Muse have shared a preview of their new single "Be With You", offering a first taste of unreleased music almost a year after the release of "Unravelling".

In the brief clip shared online, Matt Bellamy is shown playing the organ in a church and singing some lines from the track: “It seems my life’s been swallowed up/ I’ve used up every ounce of luck/ I need to leap into the fire, find a higher power and reach for something new”. The atmosphere evokes solemn, almost operatic tones, a sonic dimension that also seems to be shaping the band's new material.

For now, no official release date has been announced for "Be With You". The single would mark the first new Muse material since "Unravelling", released in 2025.

The British band is nevertheless working on their next studio album, the tenth of their career, set to follow up 2022's "Will Of The People". The arrival of new music had already been hinted at in recent months by bassist Chris Wolstenholme, who explained during an interview on "The Leona Graham Podcast" that the band was ready to get back to work on a new record. Wolstenholme also noted that, following the end of their contract with Warner Records, Muse are currently not signed to any label. For their last few albums, the deal with the major had been renewed on a case-by-case basis, but the band could decide to continue in the same way or take a new path. According to the bassist, barring any surprises, 2026 should be the year the next album comes out.
