Muse announce new album “The WOW! Signal”. Listen to the first single “Be With You”

19-03-2026

Muse have announced their new album “The WOW! Signal”, their tenth studio effort, due out this summer. “The WOW! Signal” will be released on 26 June via Warner Records and follows on from 2022's “Will Of The People”.

Accompanying the announcement is the new single "Be With You", the first taste of the project. The track opens with an organ carrying churchy overtones, before building into tight electronic textures and erupting into an energetic, direct guitar-driven climax. In the vocal line, Matt Bellamy sings: “It seems my light’s been swallowed up, I’ve used up every ounce of luck/ I need to leap into the fire/ Find a higher power, and reach for something new”.

The track comes with a cinematic official video starring Ella Balinska, directed by Nico Paolillo: you can watch it below.

"The WOW! Signal" takes its title from one of the most debated astronomical mysteries of the 20th century: a 72-second radio signal picked up in 1977 from the direction of the constellation Sagittarius, whose intensity and bandwidth were striking enough to suggest a possible extraterrestrial origin. The astronomer who spotted it circled the sequence "6EQUJ5" and scrawled "WOW!" beside it, helping cement the episode in both scientific and pop-culture lore.
