For the first time, the original continuous mix of "Confessions On A Dance Floor" by Madonna is coming to vinyl. The "The Silver Collection" edition will be available from March 27th as a 2LP set pressed on silver vinyl, featuring a dedicated mastering that respects the album's technical characteristics and preserves its uninterrupted club flow, exactly as conceived by the American artist.
“The Silver Collection” is a series of limited reissues celebrating Madonna's 40-year career. For the occasion, an exclusive D2C version is also planned, complete with a poster, due out on the same date.
The collaboration with producer Stuart Price marked a decisive turning point in Madonna's sound, steering it toward a polished electropop deeply rooted in disco that would go on to leave a lasting mark on contemporary dance music. Those sessions produced massive hit singles such as “Hung Up”, “Sorry”, “Get Together” and “Jump”, all of which topped Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart. Released in 2005, “Confessions On A Dance Floor” hit the top of the Billboard 200, stayed on the chart for 37 weeks, and earned Madonna the GRAMMY® Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album.
Also announced is “The Confessions Tour – Live From London”, timed to Record Store Day 2026. Recorded at Wembley Arena in August 2006, the concert will be released in a limited edition 2LP on pink/purple Starburst Splatter vinyl. The release is set for April 18, exclusively at participating independent record stores, and gathers 13 tracks spanning the “Confessions On A Dance Floor” repertoire alongside classics like “Lucky Star” and “Like A Virgin”.

20 years on from "Confessions On A Dance Floor", Madonna has announced a new project marking a return to the dance sounds that shaped her career. The album, expected in 2026, will be released by Warner Records, the label with which the popstar has woven a long and complicated artistic and professional history. The announcement came via Instagram, in a short but telling post: “Almost 2 decades later – And it feels like home with Warner Records! Back to music, Back to the Dance Floor Back to where it all began!”. Words that hint not only at a musical return to the sound of the mid-2000s, but also at a reconciliation with her longtime record label. Backing up this theory is the acronym “COADF – P.2”, a direct reference to the acclaimed 2005 album produced by Stuart Price. According to early rumours, he will once again be the one producing the record, after also overseeing the musical side of the recent “Celebration Tour”.
