After a three-year hiatus, Madame is ready to return with new music. The singer-songwriter from Veneto has announced the release of “Disenchantment”, her third studio album, out Friday 17 April via Sugar Music.
The record
The title alludes to an inevitable turning point: the end of the initial enchantment and the entry into a more self-aware phase. The record explores precisely this process, following an emotional journey that starts with excitement and fascination, moves through rupture, and arrives at a possible rebirth.
In a note shared with the public, the singer-songwriter recounts the time that has passed since her last work and the period of disorientation that accompanied the making of the new album:
Why?
Why did it take three years?
Why did I drop everything just when things were going so well?
Why did I shut myself inside myself,
so deep inside that I could no longer find my way out?
Why wasn't I strong?
I don't have the answers. I only have lots and lots of questions.
And an album
“Disenchantment” is already available for pre-order on the main digital platforms and in several physical formats: CD and black vinyl with poster, black CD exclusive to Amazon, and signed transparent vinyl with poster and signed CD exclusive to Sugar Music.
