Just two years after the carefree “Can We Please Have Fun”, Kings of Leon are putting the pedal down and gearing up to release their tenth studio album. The new chapter in the Followill brothers' saga will be titled “O My Beloved” and will see the light of day on November 6th via Love Tap Records, preceded by the lead single “My Whole World”.
The news caps off an extremely busy 2026 on the live front, which saw the Nashville outfit first conquer British stages before going on to dominate Europe's major festivals, including an appearance at Madrid's Mad Cool alongside giants like Foo Fighters and Pulp.
While their previous record played out as an ode to rediscovered carefree fun, the thirteen tracks on “O My Beloved” seem to veer toward more intimate, melancholy and confessional territory, temporarily setting aside the reassuring arena-rock formula. It's a shift already audible in Caleb Followill's vocal delivery on the lead single, mirroring a lyrical focus on taking stock of life, family memory, and a measured sense of gratitude for the road travelled so far.
Framing the release of the record, for which pre-orders are already open, the band has planned a special live "homecoming" event in their native Nashville.
