_resetfestival turns 18, October 5 to 10 at Hiroshima Mon Amour in Turin

16-09-2026

The eighteenth edition of _resetfestival, Italy's backstage music festival, will take place from October 5 to 10 in Turin at Hiroshima Mon Amour. Since 2009 it has been not just a showcase for emerging music, but a format that puts everything normally left behind the scenes center stage: training, scouting, dialogue with industry experts, and networking, alongside concerts, live shows, talks, and moments of encounter and celebration. Not a contest, not a competition, but a real space for exchange: an opportunity for anyone who wants to turn music into a career, which over these 18 years has grown into both a leading stage for emerging talent and an unmissable event, a point of reference and exchange for music industry and third-sector professionals, aspiring insiders, and an enthusiastic, curious audience alike. People, ideas, relationships and projects arrive in Turin every year specifically for _resetfestival, which for one week turns the city into the hub of the Italian music ecosystem.
A formula that over the years has allowed the festival to become a benchmark for Italy's new music scene. Its stage has hosted artists such as Willie Peyote, Diodato, Niccolò Fabi, Levante, Margherita Vicario, Marina Rei, Cristina Donà, Andrea Laszlo De Simone, Samuel Romano, Giovanni Truppi, Serena Brancale, Pierpaolo Capovilla, Ditonellapiaga and Ghemon, along with numerous projects that began their careers right at _reset. These include Anna Castiglia, Francamente, Gaia Banfi, Alessio Bondì, Queen Of Saba, Irossa, Marco Fracasia, Eugenio in Via Di Gioia, Little Pieces of Marmelade, Fusaro and Rosita Brucoli, as well as a very young Levante, who appeared in 2010.
Over its 18 years, _resetfestival has been built around four main dimensions: showcase, training, outreach and enterprise. It is precisely the relationship between stage and backstage that makes the project distinctive. During the week, live music coexists with talks, meetings, discussion sessions and training activities aimed at those who want to get a closer look at how the music industry works.
From Monday, October 5 to Thursday, October 8, the festival's training segment will take center stage, open to candidates selected through an open call. The program runs through four _reHUB tracks: creative production, management, new media and live production. In the _reHUB creative production track, four artistic projects will work on creating an original track under the guidance of producer Ale Bavo and writer Valentina Farinaccio, alongside four major names in Italian music to be announced in the coming weeks. ReHUB management will instead be dedicated to those who want to break professionally into music management, while _reHUB new media will explore online and offline communication strategies applied to promoting festivals, events and music projects. Finally, _reHUB crew will take participants directly behind the scenes, tackling the less visible but essential aspects of live production: from production schedules to work contracts. Rounding out the program is the return of Music Innovation Hub, a format launched in 2011 with the goal of bringing startup culture into the music world and building stronger project-planning and strategic skills.

For live performances by emerging projects, the collaboration continues with Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo through Glocal Sound, the showcase dedicated to talent from various Italian regions. This gives rise to _resetSTAGE feat. Glocal Sound, a new space bringing together two organizations that both celebrate a major anniversary in 2026: 18 years for _resetfestival and 10 years for Glocal Sound. The project involves the Regional Live Entertainment Circuits of several Italian regions and will allow selected young artists to bring their music to the Turin stage. Above all, this year the journey won't stop in Turin. The selected projects will have the chance to enter a new national live circuit, with the opportunity to perform on other Italian stages too, thanks to Glocal Sound's network of partners. Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10 will be dedicated to the projects selected for live performances on the _resetSTAGE feat. Glocal Sound stage, part of a program that will take audiences through concerts, meetings, events, DJ sets and entertainment.
For the second year running, the festival returns to Hiroshima Mon Amour, at via Carlo Bossoli 83, after moving through various venues around the city over the years, starting with the Murazzi. A venue that also represents recognition of the project's growth: Hiroshima Mon Amour is in fact one of the most important and long-running live clubs on the Italian music scene.
