An elevated square that didn't exist four years ago. Today it's one of the most significant urban regeneration experiments in Italy. Casilino Sky Park, a project located in the heart of Rome's Municipio V, returns for the 2026 season: a programme weaving together international concerts, independent culture, sport, cinema, public art and social life in a space born from the reclamation of a disused multi-storey car park. Four thousand square metres regenerated with zero land consumption, a square seventeen metres up that in just a few years has become a landmark for East Rome and the whole city. In the last season alone, Casilino Sky Park welcomed over 150,000 people, with more than 100 events and dates spread across the whole summer. Not just a venue, nor a temporary festival: Casilino Sky Park is a year-round community infrastructure, a hybrid space bringing together culture, sport and social gathering in an urban area that has long suffered from a lack of squares and public places.
The 2026 lineup brings together international names, urban culture and popular tradition. The season opened with Almamegretta on June 4th, but there are many events scheduled through the end of July. It's not just music: among the most anticipated events are big-screen broadcasts of the football World Cup matches, accompanied by ethnic food stalls run by local communities, plus celebrations of Rome's historic underground scenes: thirty years of Urban Force, ten years of Jungle Juice, Toretta Stile, Amorucci, Only Punk Summer Feste Roma Hardcore Fest. The season will also host the unveiling of Vision, a new work by Shine that will enrich the open-air urban art gallery at Casilino Sky Park. Alongside the big events, the weekly programming returns, which over the years has turned the rooftop into a genuine contemporary piazza: Tuesdays bring Cinema sul Tetto in partnership with Pietro Valsecchi, Wednesdays feature stand-up comedy with Misunderstandup starring Cecilia Forastieri and Patty Colucci, while Sundays are given over to theatre and comedy with Andrea Rivera, Claudio Morici, Ivan Talarico, Daniele Fabbri, Alberto Farina, Filippo Giardina, Gioia Salvatori, Pablo e Pedro and many others. Rounding out the programme are outdoor sports activities, from sunset yoga to pilates to padel.

With 66,000 members, six food stalls from the surrounding neighbourhoods and a programme running throughout the summer, Casilino Sky Park continues to redefine the idea of Estate Romana on the outskirts: a new model of public space born out of reuse, participation and the concrete possibility of building community on top of concrete.
