Born in Friuli in 1989, I hold a degree in "Conservation of Cultural Heritage" with a thesis on the cinema of Leo Longanesi. I grew up on bread, art, Bukowski... and Udinese. After falling hopelessly in love with Krautrock and the Canterbury scene as a teenager, these days I consume huge quantities of progressive rock, though I'm able to switch schizophrenically from classical music to punk in a matter of seconds. In my free time I like to travel, hike in the mountains, go mushroom-picking, take photographs and read (among my favourite writers are Celine, Thoreau, Burroughs, Pound, Cioran, Whitman, Kerouac, London and Fante). I own an inordinate amount of books and vinyl records, I love the films of New German Cinema and the great classics of history. In short, I could say I love all art in general, regardless of genre, as long as it follows the one rule of never being banal or commercial. Among my favourite musicians are Frank Zappa, Robert Wyatt, Kevin Ayers, Gong and Pink Floyd... But don't ask me to pick just one, or I might get a nasty migraine.In May 2017 my first book came out with Crac Edizioni, titled "The 101 Tales of Canterbury", written together with my friend and OndaRock colleague Valerio D'Onofrio, with whom I also co-authored the introductory essay for Antonello Cresti's book "Solchi Sperimentali Kraut" (2018).
