Gioele Sforza

Born in 1993, I'm from Lecce, where I work as a software developer. My passion for music dates back to the early 2000s, thanks to a few videos in heavy rotation on MTV, like "Le vent nous portera" by Noir Desir and "There There" by Radiohead, which would later become my first true musical love (I consider my first listen to "Ok Computer" a defining moment in my life). Raised on indie-rock, over time I explored various genres, finding my comfort zone in post-punk, new wave and britpop. At the same time, I'm passionate about black music and all its declinations, such as soul, disco and hip-hop. For some time now I've been actively following the music scene of Eastern Europe (Poland above all) and I try to discover the most interesting new developments in African scenes. I've been writing for Ondarock since 2014.
