Nicola Minucci

Born in Florence on July 11, 1979. After a youth spent getting into fights, drinking apple juice and listening to Queen, he moved on to somewhat more complex listening, despite being more of a cine-vore ("cinephile" feels too demanding a word) than a music buff. He discovered OndaRock thanks to the Tortoise entry, and got hooked on the forum because of a Nick Cave concert. He found a way to listen to a ton of music whose existence he hadn't even suspected before. About a year later, he wrote his first review. Yes, it's fair to say Nicola is a product of OndaRock's own youth academy. While he listens to a bit of everything, his real passions are electronic music (especially the Warp roster) and high-end pop: from Prince to David Bowie, from XTC to David Sylvian, all the way to Stereolab and Björk.
