What I like: kung-fu movies, short shorts, Africa and black music in general, African-American culture, the Cucciolone ice lolly, football and suffering for football, electronic music, Chuck Palahniuk, Japan, sunglasses, reggae and dub, America in all its contradictions and excesses, DFW, music nerds. What I don't like: arguing, new wave, noise, boring movies without enough explosions, exhibitionist culture (including the cerebral kind), the fake open-mindedness that everyone still ends up wearing blinkers under, really messing things up, parking, music nerds.
