I started writing about music at a very young age, first in the pages of Metal Shock and then RockHard Italy. Later, I collaborated with a few webzines (Darkroom Magazine and Electroworld), before joining the OndaRock team in the autumn of 2017 (where I'm in charge of the dark area).
Music is my visceral passion: besides being a rabid collector of CDs and vinyl, I'm also a DJ (ranging from new wave to the darkest techno, by way of gothic, alternative and industrial). To date, I've racked up a resume of about 900 gigs across Italy (in the past, I've also organised a few notable industrial-EBM concerts).
I love music beyond genres and self-imposed ghettos, always trying to look at the present and the future while respecting the past. There's no better time for music, because Art also means evolution and contamination, especially in a liquid society (to use Zygmunt Bauman's words) like today's. Every era is unrepeatable, and every era has its masterpieces, which are born precisely out of change.
Other passions of mine are travel, cinema (for many years I ran a blog dedicated to the most controversial films, where I reviewed almost 2000 movies), literature, philosophy, geopolitics and anthropology (i.e. what I studied at university).
