Born in 2001 in Giarre, in the province of Catania, I've always considered myself a genuine film and music enthusiast. My father Giuseppe and my brother Luca were the driving force behind my personal cultural growth: while the former pushed me towards an early immersion in mid-Seventies Pink Floyd - today I consider myself a proud Barrett devotee - the latter opened up a whole world to me at a tender age, from Burton-esque gothic horror to Peter Jackson-style splatter. In the summer of 2018, during my final years at art school, I immersed myself in the poetics of progressive rock, staying devoted to the genre for a solid two years. In 2020 I enrolled at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Catania, in the now-defunct Technological Arts department: there I began to take an interest in the dazzling refinement of new wave, dark-punk subculture, the allure of free jazz and the no wave underground, before being swept away for good by the brutality of post-hardcore and noise rock. A lover of monographs and an eternal completist, since September 2025 I've been studying at the University of Turin, on the CAM (Theatre & Music) course.
