Born in Ferrara, lives in Ferrara (and will most likely die in Ferrara). He graduated from Dams in Bologna with a degree in "history and criticism of cinema" in October 2011. Struck at a young age by dozens of horrifying horror films, he later developed a passion for "serious" cinema as well, and now considers himself a connoisseur of classic and modern American film. Among his idols, in no particular order: Sydney Pollack, John Cassavetes, Francois Truffaut, Clint Eastwood, Michael Mann, Fritz Lang, Sam Raimi, Peter Bogdanovich, Billy Wilder, Ridley Scott, Akira Kurosawa, Dino Risi, Howard Hawks and many others. Besides "Ondacinema", he contributes to the magazines "Cin&media" and "Orfeo Magazine". In 2009 he placed third in the "Alberto Farassino - Scrivere di cinema" competition.
