Zach Bryan

Zach Bryan is an American country music singer-songwriter, born on April 2, 1996 in Okinawa, Japan, on a US military base, since his father served in the Navy. He grew up in Oklahoma, however, where from a young age he cultivated a passion for music, inspired by artists such as Johnny Cash and Townes Van Zandt. Bryan enlisted in the US Navy and served for eight years, managing at the same time to grow his musical career, which took off thanks to a stylistic authenticity and deeply personal, intense lyrics.

In 2019 he self-produced and released “DeAnn,” an album dedicated to his late mother, which immediately caught attention for its raw, intimate style, marked by stripped-down production and melancholic, reflective lyrics. The success of DeAnn was followed in 2020 by “Elisabeth,” another self-produced album that further established him as an emerging artist on the independent country scene.

The real breakthrough, however, came in 2022 with the album “American Heartbreak,” which marked his official debut under a record label. The album was an immediate success, debuting at the top of the American charts and establishing Bryan as one of the most authentic and promising voices in contemporary country music. His songs, such as “Something In The Orange,” also won wide approval on streaming platforms, expanding his fanbase.

In 2023, Bryan released a new self-titled album, “Zach Bryan,” continuing to explore themes of emotional vulnerability, love and loneliness. Among his most notable collaborations is the one with Bruce Springsteen on the track “Sandpaper,” featured on the album “The Great American Bar Scene.”

Bryan is praised for the sincerity of his music, which blends country-folk roots with a contemporary touch, and for his independent approach, which has made him one of the most influential and followed artists on the contemporary country scene.
