Whitemary

Whitemary, born Biancamaria Scoccia, is a singer-songwriter of Abruzzese origin but adopted by Rome, trained in jazz singing and now a Music Technology teacher. Starting out in jazz and moving through Italian song, she has since arrived at manipulating samplers and analogue synthesizers.

Whitemary is part of "Poche", the all-female collective founded by Elasi and Plastica, an open, free space that promotes encounters and visibility for the many female artists and producers populating the Italian electronic scene.

Having made a name for herself with the EP "Alter Boy", a remix of Ditonellapiaga's "Repito" and a feature on P L Z's "M E G A", after a long string of singles she arrived at her debut album, "Radio Whitemary", released on June 10, 2022 by 42 Records.

In 2024 a new album arrives, "New Bianchini", marking a further, significant evolution in her artistic path.
