Ultha

Germany's Ultha are among the finest exponents of the new generation of black metal. Their sound ranges across both feral and atmospheric passages, carrying within it deep philosophical and existential reflection. After a modest apprenticeship, Ultha reached a state of grace with the recent, excellent “The Inextricable Wandering” (2018), “All That Has Never Been True” (2022) and “A Light So Dim” (2026), where their post-black metal formula met further developments and cross-contaminations.
